QAPI / Attention to Quality Measures

Posted on Posted in Type A

The number one complaint we hear from potential clients is that not enough attention is paid to quality measures that impact the facility’s survey results, reputation and bottom line.  Our facilities perform 50% above state and national averages in the areas of:

  • Unintended Weight Changes – Our protocols ensure that inaccurate weights are not recorded in the first place. Our consultants work with your staff to obtain true comparison weights each month, preventing the need for ongoing documentation of questionable weight changes.
  • Tray Card Accuracy – Routine audits are performed against orders in your EMR
  • Supplements and Tube Feeding Formulas – Supplement trials are conducted with residents to ensure they will accept the supplements ordered for them.  Supplements are reviewed quarterly for continued need. Only high calorie tube feeding formulas are used to maximize nutritional value and lower overall cost.
